Cairo, Egypt – Al Ahly topped the standings of Group B of the African Champions League after an important 2-0 victory over Tanzania’s Young Africans in their match on Friday evening.
Al Ahly met Young Africans at Borg El Arab Stadium, as part of the third round of the continental championship.
Al Ahly’s Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet scored a brace in the 45+3 and 75th minutes respectively.

With today’s win, Al Ahly raised its tally to 7 points, taking sole possession of the top spot in the standings, while Young Africans remained in second place with 4 points.

3- The Royal Army, point.
4- JS Kabylie, one point.
