Doha, Qatar – The Tunisian national team achieved victory over their Qatari counterparts, with three goals to nil, in the match that brought them together on Sunday evening, in the Arab Cup tournament.
Tunisia met Qatar at Al Bayt Stadium in the third and final round of the Arab Cup tournament.
Tunisia scored their first goal in the 16th minute, through Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane
The goal came after a low, driven cross from Ali Maaloul, which was met by Seifeddine Jaziri with a shot that was saved by the Qatari goalkeeper, and then Ben Ramadan followed up and put it into the net.
In the 62nd minute, Yassine Meriah added the second goal for the Tunisian national team, after a cross from a corner kick which he met with a short touch that found the back of the net.
In the dying moments, specifically at the 90+4 minute, Mohamed Ben Ali snatched the third goal for Tunisia.
The goal came after a rocket shot that nestled in the net of the Qatari goalkeeper.
