Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Huawei has announced the launch of its new HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 smartwatch in Arab markets, starting with Saudi Arabia. This watch is the latest addition to the company’s premium watch series, featuring a robust design inspired by classic, high-end timepieces.

It also incorporates advanced technologies that make it one of the most sophisticated watches in its class. The watch targets users seeking both luxury and professional performance.

The new watch features a case made of high-strength zirconium alloy, with a scratch-resistant nano-ceramic bezel. It also has a sapphire crystal with a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale.

These advanced materials cover a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 screen with a brightness of up to 3500 nits. This provides high clarity in various lighting conditions and a premium feel suitable for everyday use and demanding activities.

One of the watch’s most notable features is its support for underwater communication using sonar technology. This enables divers to send messages at depths of up to 30 meters. Additionally, it includes an SOS emergency call function.

The watch can withstand diving to a depth of 150 meters thanks to its 13-layer waterproof design. It also features a smart mechanism that automatically shuts off the audio ports under pressure.

In the field of digital health, Huawei offers the new X-TAP sensor, which is mounted on the side of the watch. It integrates ECG, PPG, and pressure sensors and works seamlessly with the TruSense system. This allows for accurate measurements via the fingertips.

The user can obtain a comprehensive health report in just 3 seconds. The report includes 11 vital signs such as heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress levels, and ECG results.

The watch also supports outdoor activities via dual-frequency, five-satellite GPS. This increases positioning accuracy to 8 meters, with features specifically designed for high-altitude adventures above 4,500 meters. Athletes, especially golfers, benefit from enhanced mapping of over 17,000 golf courses worldwide.

The watch offers cellular connectivity via eSIM for making calls without needing a phone. Battery life is up to 4.5 days in standard mode and up to 6 days in power-saving mode without sacrificing essential health and fitness features.
