Washington, DC – Massad Boulos, advisor to US President Donald Trump on Arab and African affairs, affirmed the existence of complete strategic alignment between the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates regarding the crisis in Yemen. Mosaad emphasized that the shared objective is to eliminate the threats posed by the Houthis and terrorist organizations.

A shared goal for regional stability

In a blog post on the X platform, Paul explained that the trilateral efforts are focused on protecting Yemen’s interests. Furthermore, they aim to maintain the stability of the region as a whole. Mosaad said, “We have a common goal in Yemen; the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates agree on the importance of defeating the Houthis and other terrorist elements. This is in the best interest of all of Yemen and the stability of the region.”

Combating terrorism in all its forms

According to a post originally published on the US Embassy in Yemen’s account, Pauls clearly outlined the threats that Washington and its allies are trying to counter. Mosaad indicated that the fight is not limited to the Houthis. It also includes al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and the ISIS terrorist organization.

The US presidential advisor Mosaad Boulos concluded his remarks by affirming the US administration’s commitment to supporting Yemen. He included the hashtag #USWithYemen, a clear indication of continued US support for the legitimate government. The efforts also include counterterrorism efforts in the country.

These statements come at a time of intense diplomatic and military activity in the region. This reflects the Trump administration’s desire to strengthen regional partnerships to resolve outstanding security issues in Yemen.
