This comes after the tragic plane crash that killed the Chief of the General Staff

Supporting the building of the Libyan military institution

This came during Al-Dabaiba’s reception, on Saturday in the capital Tripoli,

During the meeting, the Turkish military official conveyed the condolences of the Turkish leadership, government

and people, to the Libyan people, expressing deep sorrow and grief over this tragic loss.

The Turkish Chief of Staff affirmed his country’s appreciation for the national role played

by Field Marshal Mohammed Al-Haddad in supporting efforts to build the Libyan military institution.

Strengthening military and security cooperation between Libya and Turkey over the past years,

He noted that the deceased was one of the most prominent supporters of developing military institutional work.

Investigations are still ongoing

For his part, Dbeibah appreciated this gesture, considering it a sincere expression of the depth of Libyan-Turkish relations, stressing

that cooperation between the two countries will continue in various fields.

Especially with regard to institution building and the development of military and security capabilities,

in a way that serves the stability of Libya, preserves its sovereignty and enhances its security.

The head of the national unity government stressed that investigations into the circumstances of the plane crash

are still continuing with all seriousness and responsibility, and in coordination with the Turkish side.

This will continue until all technical and legal procedures are completed,

and the full circumstances of the incident are revealed.

This is out of respect for the blood of the victims and to preserve the public’s right to know the truth.
