Brussels, Belgium – The European Union and Pakistan discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand their partnership. This comes within the framework of their shared commitment to developing political and economic relations to serve mutual interests.
During meetings between EU and Pakistani officials, prospects for cooperation in trade, investment, sustainable development, and energy were reviewed, in addition to regional and international issues of common concern.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing regular political dialogue and enhancing economic cooperation. They also focused on supporting development programs, improving market access, and encouraging European investment in Pakistan.
The two sides stressed the need to strengthen cooperation in education and cultural exchange, and to address global challenges, including climate change and regional security. They also affirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts to achieve stability and development.
