Ankara, Turkey – The Turkish Interior Minister announced that contact had been lost with a plane that took off from Esenboğa Airport in Ankara. It was bound for Tripoli with 5 people on board. These included the Chief of Staff of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohammed Ali al-Haddad. The minister added that Turkish authorities had received a report of an emergency landing in the Haymana area near Ankara. However, it was subsequently impossible to re-establish contact with the plane.
