and ammunition inside a residential apartment in the town of “Al-Ansar” in Baalbek Governorate.

This comes as part of the ongoing efforts by the military establishment to enforce security;

This is with the aim of restricting weapons to the state and preventing their use in disrupting public stability.

Details of the raid and the seizures

She pointed to the existence of an apartment rented by a wanted man that was being used to store military equipment.

Following the raid on the site, security forces found a variety of light and medium weapons.

This is in addition to huge quantities of various types of ammunition, which reflects the seriousness of the areas being targeted.

Extensive investigations and legal prosecution

Accordingly, the statement confirmed that all seized items were handed over to the competent authorities,

and the authorities initiated a comprehensive investigation under the supervision of the competent judiciary.

These investigations aim to uncover the circumstances of the case,

identify all those involved, and prosecute them legally.

This ensures that anyone who dares to tamper with national security

August plan under scrutiny

In a related context, this raid is part of a series of intensive security operations carried out

by the army in implementation of the plan it approved last August.

The plan aims to dry up the sources of illegal weapons and control the security situation in various regions.

Especially in the Bekaa region, which is of utmost priority due to its unique security situation.

This is widely welcomed by citizens aspiring to restore the state’s prestige.

Summary and military commitments

In conclusion, the Lebanese army continues to send firm messages

that it will not hesitate to raid any hotspots that threaten civil peace.

Therefore, observers expect these qualitative operations to continue in the coming period.

Especially since the military establishment places the protection of civilians

and the stability of the country above all else under the current circumstances.
