The Speaker of Parliament calls for broad participation

Counselor Dr. Hanafi Gebali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, cast his vote at his polling station in Mustafa Kamel Preparatory School for Boys in Nozha, Cairo.

Jebali emphasized that active participation in the elections is a national duty and an inherent constitutional right for every citizen. He also stressed that casting one’s vote freely creates a strong parliament capable of representing the people and achieving their interests.

He also called on Egyptians to go to the polls with a pure sense of national duty. He expressed his confidence in the people’s awareness of the importance of their role in shaping the country’s future.

The Speaker of Parliament thanked the National Elections Authority for its efforts to ensure transparency and integrity. He also praised the Ministry of Interior’s efforts in securing polling stations and facilitating the voting process.

Praise for the smooth running of the electoral process

Accountant Mohamed Galal, a leading figure in the Future of the Nation Party, praised the smooth running of the electoral process, particularly the second phase of the 2025 parliamentary elections. He also confirmed that polling stations operated with complete order and witnessed a growing voter turnout from the early hours of opening.

Jalal emphasized that the remarkable turnout reflects citizens’ keenness to exercise their constitutional right to elect their representatives to Parliament. He also noted that positive participation is the primary driver for continuing the development process and supporting the state in facing challenges.

He explained that coordination between the various entities involved in the electoral process, including state institutions and political parties, contributed to creating a safe and organized environment within the polling stations. This ensures that every citizen’s vote is easily and conveniently heard.

Jalal stressed the importance of continued high voter turnout during the two election days, as the next parliament will bear significant responsibilities in supporting national policies and implementing development plans.

He concluded his remarks by urging voters in all districts to go to the polls and fulfill their national duty. He emphasized that every Egyptian’s vote is a direct support for the country’s democratic path and a consolidation of the principle of popular will.
