Vatican City – At the United Nations Climate Conference COP30, the Pope made an urgent appeal to all nations to take immediate and decisive action to address climate change, stressing that the world no longer has the luxury of delay.
He explained that international cooperation and commitment to plans to reduce harmful emissions are the only way to protect the planet and ensure a safe future for future generations.
He added that environmental issues are no longer a purely environmental matter, but have become a humanitarian and moral priority, calling on governments and organizations to promote investments in clean energy, protect natural resources, and confront the increasing climate disasters before it is too late.
