Congo – In a large-scale field operation, the Congolese armed forces successfully expelled Mobondo militia elements from the village of Kindondo in the capital. This strengthened their control over the area and the overall security of the capital.

Official military sources confirmed that the operation included combing the surrounding villages and securing vital routes. This was done to prevent the return of armed militias, in a move aimed at protecting civilians and ensuring the stability of daily life.

It is estimated that this operation followed precise intelligence regarding the militias’ movements, enabling the army to carry out accurate strikes that dismantled their bases in the area.

This military operation reflects the Congolese forces’ ability to counter armed threats. Pursuing dispersed elements also strengthens trust between the population and local security authorities.
