Baghdad, Iraq – Iraqi armed forces and security services have begun casting their votes in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Approximately 1.3 million members of these forces are eligible to vote. This step reflects the state’s commitment to ensuring the participation of all segments of society, including military and security personnel, in shaping the country’s political future.

Sources indicate that the electoral procedures are proceeding smoothly, with the necessary security measures being taken to ensure the democratic process runs without any obstacles.

The participation of this large segment of the population in the military and security institutions also reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring the integrity and transparency of the elections. This comes at a time when Iraqis are awaiting the results of the elections, which are expected to be highly competitive between various political parties and forces.
