Cairo, Egypt – The draw for the group stage of the African Champions League resulted in Al-Ahly being placed in a tough group, while Pyramids FC was placed in a balanced group.

The draw ceremony for the group stage of the African Champions League was held on Monday afternoon in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Al Ahly had reached the group stage of the African Champions League, after overcoming Aigle Noir of Burundi in the round of 32 of the tournament.

Al Ahly were placed in Group B of the group stage of the African Champions League for this edition.

Al-Ahly and Pyramids clubs are participating in this edition of the African Champions League as representatives of Egypt.

Al Ahly’s group in the African Champions League

Al Ahly’s group in the CAF Champions League includes:

1- Al-Ahly.

2- JS Kabylie of Algeria.

3- The Royal Moroccan Army.

4- Young Africans of Tanzania.

Pyramids’ group in the 2025-2026 CAF Champions League

The draw for this edition of the African Champions League resulted in Pyramids being placed in Group A of the group stage of the African Champions League.

Pyramids’ group in the CAF Champions League is as follows:

1- Pyramids.

2- Rivers United.

3- Dynamo Zambia.

4- Renaissance Berkane of Morocco.

It is worth noting that Pyramids are the reigning champions of the African Champions League, having won the previous edition against South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.
