Rome, Italy – The Valentino Foundation announced the death of the world-renowned Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani at the age of 93 at his home in Rome.
In an official statement released on social media, the Foundation said, “Valentino was not only a constant guide and inspiration to us all, but also a true source of light, creativity, and vision.”
The death of the iconic designer has deeply affected the art world and the fashion industry. Garavani is considered one of the most prominent designers of the 20th and early 21st centuries.

His body will be received at the Foundation’s headquarters in Rome on Wednesday and Thursday. The funeral service will be held on Friday at the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martieri in Piazza della Repubblica.
