Dubai, UAE – The Ministry of Economy and Tourism, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, is organizing the second session of the National Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises – Government Procurement 2026.
It will be held on January 27 and 28 in Dubai, with the participation of more than 90 federal and local entities and national companies.
Among them is the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
In addition to senior officials and purchasing managers, a large group of male and female entrepreneurs from the country were invited.
This event is organized under the umbrella of the National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism.
It aims to raise the readiness of Emirati small and medium enterprises to compete for contracts and tenders from federal and local authorities and national companies.
Which will be presented during the forum and enhance its chances of seizing these tenders.
This contributes to the development of national entrepreneurship and reflects the UAE’s position as a leading center for the business environment and emerging projects at the regional and international levels.
The forum includes a number of sessions discussing developments in the government procurement system in the UAE.
In addition to enhancing spending efficiency and expanding the participation of Emirati small and medium enterprises.
In addition to highlighting digital transformation initiatives and simplifying procedures for participation and entry into government tenders.
The forum will witness the announcement of new initiatives on empowering small and medium enterprises for government procurement.
In addition to specialized training programs and workshops on government procurement, preparing offers, pricing, and concluding contracts.
As well as honoring distinguished entities, managers and project owners.
Leading to the announcement of outputs and recommendations aimed at enhancing the contribution of this vital sector to the national economy and building a competitive and sustainable economy based on knowledge and innovation.
