Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, held a telephone conversation with Iván Gil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
During the call, the two ministers discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and develop cooperation in various fields.
The official statement indicated that the conversation focused on advancing mechanisms for joint cooperation and encouraging economic and investment initiatives.
In addition, the two ministers discussed exchanging expertise in the fields of energy, trade, and logistics. This would contribute to enhancing shared interests.
The two ministers emphasized the importance of continued coordination at the governmental and diplomatic levels,
and of supporting joint projects that promote sustainable development and economic prosperity.
Furthermore, they discussed opening new horizons for strategic cooperation between the two countries.
This telephone conversation comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to strengthen relations between the UAE and Venezuela.
It also reflects the keenness of the leadership in both Abu Dhabi and Caracas to expand the scope of bilateral cooperation and deepen the strategic partnership.
