Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Basketball Team continued its positive results in the Adriatic League (ABA League).
This came after his victory on Monday over Burak Mozart, 90-79, at the Coca-Cola Arena.
He maintained his unbeaten record, raising his tally to 12 consecutive wins.
The match witnessed the first starting participation of Tomislav Vuckovic (17 years old), a graduate of the Dubai Basketball Academy.
He became the first player from the academy to start with the first team in an official match.
The match started evenly, with Burak Mozart ending the first quarter with a 23-19 lead.
Before Dubai regained its balance under the leadership of McKinley Wright and Dwayne Baiken, and ended the first half with a 41-37 lead.
As the match progressed, the strength of the Dubai Basketball team’s lineup became apparent, with Keenan Kaminash, along with Nemanja Dangobic and Clement Prebelic, contributing to expanding the gap and maintaining the lead.
While Burak Mozart relied on Marco Yoshilo and Dianti Baldwin without succeeding in reducing the difference.
Dubai coach Eureka Golemak said that the match was not easy in light of the pressure of matches.
He pointed out that the team found its rhythm in the second half and succeeded in controlling the game.
Dwayne Baiken topped the scoring list with 15 points, and Keenan Caminash added 13 points and 7 rebounds.
The Dubai Basketball Team is preparing to play the 22nd round of the European League (EuroLeague) against Virtus Bologna.
