Dubai, UAE – The organizers of the “Le Tap Dubai” bicycle race of the “Tour de France” announced the continued opening of registration for bicycle enthusiasts, lovers and families.
To participate in the 2026 edition of the event, scheduled for January 24 and 25.
Which offers the opportunity to get going alongside cycling legend Peter Sagan.
The event is sponsored by Shkoda and in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council.
This year’s edition comes with the distinguished participation of international star Peter Sagan, seven-time winner of the green jersey in the Tour de France and three-time world champion in road racing.
He will join hundreds of amateur cyclists in an experience designed according to international standards for racing tracks.
To reflect the authentic spirit of the world’s most prestigious bicycle racing.
The main race will start on Sunday morning, January 25, from Dubai Design District D3, for a distance of 112 kilometers, under the name “Epic Race”.
The classic race extends over a distance of 61 kilometers.
The event includes three sections dedicated to speed racing, the most prominent of which is the “Sagan Speed Challenge”.
Where the fastest gets a special shirt presented by Peter Sagan himself.
Events dedicated to families are also being organized on Saturday, January 24, starting with a children’s race over distances ranging between 300 meters and 1.8 kilometers.
It is followed by a 20-kilometre family race, during which Sagan participates in presenting medals to the cyclists at the finish line in Expo Village Dubai.
The “Racing Village” includes interactive experiences for visitors, including the Tour de France Museum, a display of souvenirs, and educational and entertainment activities.
In addition to the experience of driving “Shkoda” cars, with opportunities to meet the event’s ambassadors from the most prominent international cyclists.
Among them is Italian Paralympic Andrea Busateri, who stressed that the event reflects a message of inclusivity and sports for all.
The Tour de France’s Le Tap Dubai cycling race reflects Dubai’s position as a leading international destination for hosting global sporting events.
After the first edition in 2025 attracted more than 1,000 participants.
Among them were 266 Emiratis and 243 international cyclists.
It recorded the highest amateur participation in the history of racing in the country.
