Abu Dhabi, UAE – Shabab Al Ahli swept aside their hosts Al Bataeh with four goals to nil, in the match that brought them together on Wednesday evening, at Khalid Bin Mohammed Stadium, as part of the 12th round of the UAE League competition.
Al Ahli’s goals were scored by Matheus Lima (two goals), Federico Cartabia, and Yahya Al Ghassani, in the 7th, 27th, 38th, and 57th minutes of the match.

Al Bataeh almost equalized in the 21st minute, after a perfect pass from Anatoly to Saud Khalil, but Shabab Al Ahli’s defense intervened at the right time and saved the situation.

In the second half, Shabab Al Ahli continued to dominate the match, until Yahya Al Ghassani scored the fourth goal in the 57th minute, confirming his team’s superiority.
Al Ahli youth maintained their lead until the final whistle, securing a 4-0 victory.
With this result, Shabab Al Ahli raised its tally to 23 points in third place in the ADNOC Pro League standings, while Al Bataeh’s tally remained frozen at 6 points in last place.
