Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The organizing committee at the Boudheib International Endurance Village, in cooperation with the FEI Regional Group VII, announced the completion of all technical and organizational arrangements.
This is for the launch of the second edition of the Endurance Championship for teams and individuals,
over a distance of 120 kilometers, in the “two-star” category.
It is scheduled to take place on January 3rd in the village squares in the Al Khatim area of Abu Dhabi.
Cash prizes totaling 307,000 euros
Sultan Mohammed Khalifa Al Yahyai, Chairman of Regional Group VII,
confirmed that the tournament is being organized in partnership with Boudheib International Village,
Likewise, the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation,
He noted that the veterinary examination of the horses will begin on January 2,
and the main race will be held the following day, in accordance with the highest internationally approved standards.
Al-Yahyaei explained that the organizing committee has allocated financial prizes amounting to 307,000 euros,
to be distributed among the top positions in the individual and team competitions.
It is expected that the current edition will witness wide participation from riders from countries in the region,
This reflects the rapid development of endurance sports and enhances the championship’s standing on the regional map.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah Al Sheikh, a member of the board of directors of the UAE Equestrian
and Racing Federation and head of the Endurance Committee, described
The event is considered a new qualitative addition to the UAE’s impressive record of hosting major sporting championships.

He stressed that the country’s advanced infrastructure and modern sports facilities are
a key factor in the success of such tournaments according to the highest international standards.
Al-Sheikh indicated the readiness of the UAE Equestrian Federation to provide all forms of technical
and organizational support to ensure the success of the championship in its second edition.
He expressed his hope that the UAE riders would achieve outstanding results,
continuing the journey of achievements in endurance championships at the regional, continental and international levels.
For his part, Ahmed Ali Al Hammadi, head of the Endurance Committee in Regional Group VII,
explained that the championship will be held in four stages,
He added that the championship attracts elite riders from Arab countries in individual and team competitions,
with five riders per team after passing the veterinary examination.
Participation will be open in the individual category, which will add more competition and excitement to the event.
