Abu Dhabi, UAE – The second round of the third season of the Baha Abu Dhabi Challenge will start next Saturday in Liwa, Al Dhafra.

Organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and in cooperation with the Emirates Automobile and Motorcycle Organization.

The organizing committee confirmed that the tour will witness the participation of 91 competitors from 24 countries, including 22 Emirati drivers.

In an event that brings together an elite group of professionals and amateurs in the Liwa region.

It is one of the UAE’s most prominent desert destinations for dune driving enthusiasts, and its sandy hills are distinguished by their varied heights.

Which makes it an ideal environment for organizing short desert races.

The tour includes 58 motorcycles, 8 quad bikes, 8 cars and 17 beige vehicles.

Within a desert sand trail of more than 100 kilometers over 4 laps, extending amidst the soft sand dunes of the Al Dhafra Desert.

To provide a unique experience that combines skill, speed and endurance.

Contestants from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Britain, Germany, France, South Africa, the United States, India, Russia, Lebanon, Canada, Switzerland, Ireland, Uzbekistan, China, Lithuania, Italy, Pakistan, Romania, Ukraine, Denmark and Spain are participating in the challenge.

The challenge also witnesses a prominent presence of women through the participation of a group of female drivers who add a distinctive competitive character in various categories.

They are: Helle Onur (South Africa – Motorcycles), Son Schaffler (South Africa – Motorcycles), Tracy Pia Zgheib (Lebanon – Motorcycles), Emilia Gelaznenkene (Lithuania – Beji), and Emirati Noura Al Jassasi (Automotive). This female participation reflects the tournament’s commitment to supporting women’s presence in motorsports and enhancing their participation in international competitions.

The organizing committee announced that the technical examination and administrative audit will begin on Friday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm.

On race day, registration starts from 6:00 to 7:30 am.

This will be followed by a driver briefing, followed by the official launch of the first batch at 8:30 a.m.

The coronation ceremony will be held at 11:00 am on the awards platform at the finish line.
