16 leaders from 9 countries explore the UAE's pioneering experience in the tourism sector

Dubai, UAE – The Government Knowledge Exchange Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, in cooperation with the Dubai Tourism College, organized an integrated introductory program within the “International Tourism Leadership Program”.

The program targeted 16 tourism leaders from 9 countries around the world, and included a series of field visits and specialized workshops.

An elite group of international tourism leaders participated in the program, which was supervised by experts from the UAE government.

They include secretaries-general, chief clerks and executives from Kazakhstan, Maldives, Georgia, Montenegro, Seychelles, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kenya.

Participants were briefed on the UAE’s pioneering experience in developing tourism and the best global practices in this vital sector.

The program aims to empower participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to lead the tourism sector at the international level.

Through specialized axes that include travel, tourism services, visitor experience, and the role of technology in enhancing tourism experiences.

It included field visits to leading government and tourism agencies, in addition to interactive workshops and dialogue sessions presented by Emirati experts.

Participants also reviewed the most prominent innovative practices that have established the UAE’s position as a global tourist destination.

This enhances their readiness to lead future transformations in the sector and enables them to employ these visions in developing sustainable tourism in their countries.

It is noteworthy that the UAE government launched a government knowledge exchange program with the aim of transferring best government practices and expertise to sisterly and friendly countries.

In addition to enhancing cooperation in the fields of government modernization and development, since its launch in 2018, the program has succeeded in launching partnerships with dozens of countries around the world.

With the aim of building institutional capacities and developing government performance through knowledge exchange in the areas of strategic planning and government excellence.

In addition to pioneering government services, in addition to implementing strategic initiatives and building institutional capacities.
