Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The organizing committee of the UAE Licensed Weapons Shooting Championship announced the extension of the registration period to participate in the UAE Open Cup for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, until the first of next December, with an increasing number of those wishing to participate in the competition.
The tournament will be held at Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club from December 20 to 24.
Valuable prizes were allocated, and the winner of the title will receive the golden symbol in the first edition of this tournament.
The organizing committee praised the great demand from participants from outside the country to register through the website designated for the tournament, and the keenness to implement instructions regarding safety procedures.
In addition to delivering licensed personal weapons at designated outlets, to ensure smooth procedures for their arrival at the tournament headquarters at Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club.
She pointed out that this tournament is being held after the great and distinguished success of the activities of the UAE Licensed Arms Shooting Championship in its third edition, in Al Dhafra, Ajman, Masfout and Al Ain, and what it witnessed in terms of distinguished competitive levels among male and female participants, and the wide interaction with its tangible value in enhancing competitive capabilities and developing individual skills in the sport of shooting.
She stressed the importance of entering the shooter’s data and weapon data with complete accuracy, and ensuring their accuracy before sending, given that any incorrect data may lead to weapons not being allowed to enter through border crossings, and being deprived of participating in competitions.
