Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The Emirates Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation announced the accreditation of The Club Abu Dhabi as an international training center in sailing.
In a move aimed at expanding the base of practitioners and developing the level of the game at the regional level.
Sheikha Shamsa bint Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan raised the flag of international accreditation.

Mohammed Al-Obaidli, Secretary-General of the Federation, confirmed that the accreditation of The Club Abu Dhabi comes within the Federation’s strategy aimed at qualifying a number of clubs as international training centers.
Which contributes to discovering talents and organizing and hosting international events and tournaments in the country.
He pointed out that the Federation will work during the coming period to maximize the benefit from the club’s accreditation to support the practice of modern sailing locally, in the Gulf and regionally.
In addition to working to accredit more international training centers within the country.
He added that Sheikha Shamsa bint Ahmed’s participation in raising the accreditation flag embodies the Federation’s keenness to enhance the presence of women in maritime championships.
