Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The Emirates-Chad Investment and Trade Forum kicked off in Abu Dhabi on Monday morning.
This was attended by more than 2,000 participants, ministers, officials, investors, and a number of official delegations headed by African heads of government.
The forum is organized within the framework of strengthening investment and trade relations between the UAE and the Republic of Chad.
It witnesses the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding between the two sides in the fields of infrastructure, energy, agriculture, agribusiness, logistics and financial services.
The forum discusses ways to expand the horizons of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
In addition to discussing promising opportunities in the mineral resources and energy sectors, responsible corporate development, partnerships, and agricultural and food value chains.
In addition to water, electricity, infrastructure projects, large-scale development financing, transportation corridors and logistics services.
Including railways, ports and airlines.
As well as digital transformation, development of fiber networks, digital services, human capital development, education, health, tourism, cultural exchange and joint investment opportunities.
