Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The Board of Directors of the Emirates Judo Federation approved the participation of 3 players in the Zagreb Grand Prix Championship.
Which is hosted by the Croatian Federation under the supervision of the International Federation during the period from 14 to 16 November, with the participation of about 50 countries.
The federation announced, in a statement, that the list includes Simon Constantine, “weight under 60 kg”, Eliza Litiev, “weight under 78 kg”, and Irina Khobo, “weight under 48 kg”.
The Federation also decided to launch the preparation phase for the UAE national team in Italy on Tuesday.
After concluding his participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games currently being held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, during which he achieved distinguished results.
Mohammed bin Thaaloub Al-Durai, President of the Federation, said that the first team’s camp in Italy will continue for 10 days, in preparation for the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Championship.
Which is organized by the Federation during the period from 27 to 29 November at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.
