Arab champions enter the final qualifiers to compete for the 2025 Arab Reading Challenge title

The challenge aims to build the value system of young people by informing them of the values, customs and beliefs of other cultures.

Arab champions enter the final qualifiers to compete for the 2025 Arab Reading Challenge title

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The first-place finishers in the Arab countries participating in the ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge are entering the final and decisive stage in the search for the title of the largest reading event of its kind in the Arabic language in the world.

Which will crown the champions of its ninth session on October 23 during the closing ceremony hosted by the Dubai World Trade Centre.

As the coronation day approaches, every participant in the final stage qualifiers dreams of clinching the title, despite the difficulty of the task with the levels of the competitors converging at the end of the ninth session, which witnessed record participation that reached more than 32 million male and female students from 50 countries representing 132,112 schools, and under the supervision of 161,000 and 4 male and female supervisors.

The Arab Reading Challenge, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, succeeded in attracting more than 163 million male and female students and more than 877,000 male and female reading supervisors, and registering more than 927,000 entries for Arab schools.

He is preparing to announce new heroes in all his categories, continuing to spread his cognitive and cultural message, which he has committed to since its launch in 2015.

The list of participants in the final qualifiers includes Reem Al Zarouni, the UAE champion, Idris Al Yami, the Saudi champion, Al Ghala Al Hajri, the Qatari champion, Adam Al Rodani, the Moroccan champion, Maryam Shamekh, the Mauritanian champion, Rahaf Abdullah, the Yemeni champion, Taghreed Mohammed, the Egyptian champion (ministerial level), Mohammed Al Hassanein, the Al Azhar Al Sharif champion, Mohammed Ibrahim, the Bahraini champion, Aisha Nizar Nazim, the Iraqi champion, Noha Abdul Salam, the Libyan champion, Bisan and Bilsan Kouka, the Tunisian champions, and Heba Abu Bakr, the Palestinian champion Baraa Saeed, champion of Djibouti, Ghalia Al-Enezi, champion of Kuwait, Lamar Al-Jaafra, champion of Jordan, Abdul Razzaq Al-Asmar, champion of Lebanon, and Nardine Issa, champion of Syria.

Enhancing the importance of reading

The Arab Reading Challenge, launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in 2015 as the world’s largest reading competition and project, aims to enhance the importance of reading among participating students across the Arab world and the world.

In addition to developing mechanisms for comprehension and self-expression in a correct Arabic language, instilling a love for the language of Dhad in their souls, and encouraging them to use it in their daily dealings.

In addition to opening the door for the educational field and parents in the Arab world to play a pivotal role in changing the reality of reading and instilling its love in new generations.

The challenge, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, seeks to instill a love of knowledge, reading and learning among new generations and provide them with the necessary knowledge to contribute to building a better future and refining their abilities and personalities.

The challenge also aims to build the value system of young people by informing them of the values, customs and beliefs of other cultures.

This consolidates the principles of tolerance, coexistence and acceptance of others, and encourages dialogue and cultural and human openness.
