Dubai has once again affirmed its position as a magnet for international stars, as renowned TV personality Verona Pooth has officially relocated to the vibrant city with her family, embracing a new lifestyle in the heart of the UAE.

In an interview with Bunte magazine, the 57-year-old media icon shared her excitement about fulfilling a long-held dream of moving abroad, saying: “I’ve achieved a lot professionally, but moving abroad was the one thing I hadn’t done yet — and Dubai made it incredibly easy.”

Although she once dreamed of living in Los Angeles, Pooth explained that logistical challenges such as long flights and time zone differences made it less practical. In contrast, Dubai offered a seamless transition, world-class amenities, and an ideal setup for both personal and professional life.

“It was time to change my rhythm,” she added. “I’ve been a workaholic for decades, working seven days a week. I wanted to spend more quality time with my younger son, Rocco — he’s growing up faster than you think.”

Verona Pooth, who is married to Franjo Pooth, is a proud mother of two sons, Rocco and Diego. Her eldest, Diego, recently gained national fame by winning the latest season of the popular dance show Let’s Dance. Verona herself has remained in the public eye, most recently appearing in the reality TV show Villa der Verführung.

Verona’s story is yet another testament to Dubai’s growing appeal among global talents seeking a safe, luxurious, and inspiring environment to live and thrive. With its unique blend of modern infrastructure, cultural diversity, and family-focused lifestyle, Dubai continues to stand out as a global city for the future.
