Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The High-Level Climate Champions Panel and the Marrakech Partnership adopted the vision for the five-year plan of the global climate action agenda. The Arab Creatives Union, a member of the United Nations, contributed significant input to the COP30 climate conference, confirming the union’s commitment to supporting the vision and five-year plan of the global climate action agenda.

Dr. Ahmed Nour, President of the Arab Creatives and Arab Media Federations, emphasized that this participation stems from a firm belief in the importance of creativity and innovation. This contributes to strengthening the role of peoples and unifying international efforts to address climate challenges.

He added that the Arab Creatives Union focused its interventions on key themes, including integrating climate education and expanding the scope of initiatives for sustainable school programs. It also supported creatives to develop innovative solutions to climate challenges. Building regional and global partnerships to enhance the role of education and creativity in achieving climate resilience was another focus. Finally, setting clear indicators to measure society’s environmental footprint was another theme. Dr. Ahmed Nour concluded by emphasizing that climate action is a collective responsibility shared by governments, institutions, and civil society. He emphasized the Union’s commitment to working within the Arab and global framework, and harnessing distinguished expertise and fruitful partnerships to build a green and sustainable future. Their goal is for creativity to be a voice and a message for a safe and stable life.
